Edit report
When you open a report, you see the complete inspection report as it was generated by ImmoHabits. You can edit the report directly in the platform: adjust text, delete blocks or add extra blocks.
At the top, next to the report title, you see the type, the number of photos and the language pills of the source document and any translations. There you also find the Review and Sign buttons to have the report reviewed or digitally signed.
Editing or deleting blocks
Each part of the report is shown as a block (e.g. a feature, finding or damage item). When you move your mouse over a block, buttons appear on the right:
- Edit (pencil): adjust the content of the block (e.g. description, condition, comments and photo references).
- Delete (trash): remove the entire block from the report.
With Edit you can therefore also correct or supplement information. Handy when the AI couldn't be sure of something (e.g. material type, included in the rental, defects, …).
Adding new blocks
Want to add something that's missing? Move your cursor between two blocks. You then see a horizontal line with a + button. Click it to add a new block/feature at that position.
Checking faster with the filter bar
At the top of the report you find the Filter bar. Tick Only damage & doubt items to see only the yellow and red blocks:
- Red: damage has been detected (e.g. crack, missing piece, clear damage).
- Yellow: there is doubt or extra attention is needed (e.g. parquet vs. laminate). Hover your mouse cursor over the yellow question mark to see the reason for the doubt.
- Meter readings are also always in yellow, because it's best to double-check them (with unclear photos, the AI can occasionally make mistakes).
If a review round with comments is running, the filter bar also contains the option Only blocks with review comments.
Renewing and versions
Next to the report title sits the version chip (for example "v2"). It opens the version picker: there you switch between all generated versions (for example to compare or revert to an earlier version) and find the Generate new version action.
Generate new version (renew)
This generates the report again. Handy if you added rooms or photos afterwards, or if you want improved input processed. Every renewal creates a new version; the previous versions remain available in the version picker. To prevent misuse, this action only becomes available once at least one order has been placed.
If you change rooms or photos after generating, the property and report pages automatically show a notice that the report may no longer match the current content. This way you know right away when renewing makes sense and you never unknowingly send out an outdated report.
Therefore only generate a new version when you have actually made content changes, such as:
- adding or deleting rooms
- uploading extra photos
- adjusting the property description (which the AI model uses)
Downloading
Via the Download button you can export the report and the associated photos for further use or archiving.
- Word document (.docx)
The report can be downloaded as a fully editable Word document. Optionally, we can integrate an existing Word template that is fully aligned with your house style, including:- logos and cover pages
- colors and fonts
- fixed layout and chapter structure
The generated document then contains no ImmoHabits branding and visually matches your own document standards completely.
The first time a Word document is downloaded for a report, this can take some time (1-2 min.). - PDF document (.pdf)
The same content as the Word document, but ready to share right away. The download follows the language you are viewing at that moment. This PDF is also used for digital signing. - Zip file of the photos (.zip)
All photos used can be downloaded in high resolution. The file names match the photo numbering in the report exactly (e.g. Photo 1.jpg, Photo 2.jpg, …).This makes it easy to consult, share or archive photos separately from the report, while keeping the link with the report.
- Energy transfer document (.pdf)
For properties in Belgium: the official form of the energy regulators, pre-filled with the meter readings and the parties from the file. Free. See Energy transfer document.
Next step
Next, take a look at Damage cost estimate, an option to include repair costs in the report.
