Edit property
Under Edit property you fill in the details that are used in the final Word document (the report you can download afterwards). You open these settings via the Manage property → Edit property menu on the property detail page.
These details have no influence on uploading photos or on the AI model itself. They serve exclusively to complete the report administratively and legally.
Structure of the page
The settings are divided into tabs. You can switch between the tabs at any time.
- General
- Main photo
- Address details
- Parties
- Meter readings
- Dossier
- Other
General
In General you set the property's basic information.
- Name: the title of the property (this field is required)
- Description: a general description of the property
- Inspection type: Rental move-in, Works / constructive, Move-out (standalone) or Other. Based on this, the correct Word template is loaded.
Main photo
In Main photo you can choose one photo that appears on the cover of the inspection report. The full explanation can be found at Set main photo.
Address details
In Address details you can complete the property's address. These fields are included in the Word document when you fill them in.
- Street and house number
- Postal code and municipality
- Country
- Residence (optional)
- Floor (optional)
Parties
In Parties you add the people involved who must appear in the report. There are two blocks, whose roles depend on the inspection type:
- Party 1: landlord(s) / owner
- Party 2: tenant(s) / building owner
Via Add party you add one or more people per party. A party is either a private individual or a company: for a company you fill in the company name, the VAT number and the representative. Only first and last name are required fields.
Meter readings
In Meter readings you record the readings of the meters at the time of the inspection. The full explanation can be found at Meter readings.
Dossier
In Dossier you set report-specific details that determine which fixed texts and template parts are used in the Word document.
Inspector
At the top you fill in the inspector's details (last name, first name and BIV number). With the The inspector co-signs the report checkbox you determine whether the inspector gets their own signature box in the report and is included in the digital signing round. This is enabled by default.
Layout
In addition, you can (optionally) fill in:
- Visit date: the date on which the site visit took place
- Report date and report place
- File number and client
- Assignment: free text that can appear in the report
- Weather conditions: the weather at the time of the inspection, relevant for damp spots or outdoor shots, for example
Rental contract
For a rental file you fill in the contract dates here: for a move-in the signing date and the lease start date, for a move-out the start and end date. These dates are included in the report.
Other
In Other you can fill in additional information that is often needed in an inspection report, such as the number and type of keys.
